Railway Recruitment Boards are examining bodies in association with the Government of India to recruit new employees for Indian Railways Department. RRB comprises of 21 boards spread all over India. It has released a notification to recruit Grade D employees. Online registration of RRB will begin from 12/03/2019 Time- 17:00 hrs and will close on 12/04/2019 Time – 23:59 hrs . Candidates who are eligible for the post can apply. The details of the notification are given below for your ready reference.
Railway Group D Recruitment 2019 is going to be carried out to recruit candidates for the post of Level 1 of 7 CPC Pay Matrix. Railway Recruitment Board will be conducting this exam to provide candidates a golden opportunity to get a job in the prestigious Government Sector (Railways).

RAILWAY GROUP D 2019 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The eligibility criteria of candidates appearing for Railway Group D Recruitment 2019 exam revolves around two pre-requisites:
- Candidates must hold the degree of 10th Pass OR ITI from institutions recognised by NCVT/SCVT or equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT for the post of Helper/Medical, Hospital Attendant, Assistant Pointsman, Gateman, Porter/ Hamal/ Sweeper cum portar
- For Reamaining Other Posts 10th pass plus NAC granted by NCVT OR 10th pass plus ITI from institutions recognised by NCVT/SCVT.
- A candidate is required to be: A citizen of India, A subject of Nepal, A subject of Bhutan, A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of settling permanently in India or a person of Indian origin who migrated to India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam and have the intention of settling permanently in India.

Exam pattern:
Railway Group D Exam will be conducted in three stages: First Stage CBT, Second Stage PET and Document Verification. Let’s have a look at these stages of Group D Exam in detail.
The exam will be conducted in 15 languages (Hindi, English, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu).
First stage of CBT
- Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories : UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST -30%.
- Comprises of multiple-choice objective type questions
- Negative Marking as applicable. For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.

Second Stage of PET
A candidate must qualify the Physical Test in order to be eligible for the final round of the selection procedure of Railway Group D Recruitment 2019.

Third Stage: Document Verification
Based on the performance of candidates in the CBT subject to their qualifying in PET, candidates will be called for document verification. In case of two or more candidates securing same marks, their merit position shall be determined by age criteria i.e., older person shall be given higher seniority. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates.
Note: Candidates attempting to submit application more than once will be disqualified or debarred from the examination.
How to apply for RRB Group D 2019
- Candidates can apply for vacancies of any one RRB only through ONLINE application mode by visiting the official website of RRBs.
- Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile no.which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will help him/her in getting call letter/advices etc. by email/SMS.
- Submit the Application Form.
- The payment can be made by using debit card/credit card/Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates.
- On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form with fee details will be generated; which may be printed for record.
- Take out the Print Out of the Application Form for future reference.

Admit Card for For RRB Group D 2019
Those candidates who have successfully registered for Railway Group D Exam will be issued Admit Card for first stage of CBT. Admit Card will be issued separately for Stage 1 CBT and Stage 2 PET. Admit Card for Stage 2 PET will be issued to candidates who will be clearing Stage 1 CBT of Railway Group D Exam.
How to Download Admit Card
- Go tohttp://indianrailways.gov.in and click on careers section.
- Select download RRB Group D call letter for constable examination
- Then enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth/Password
- Finally click on the submit button, your RRB Group D admit card 2019 will generated and take a print.
- The RRB Group D admit card is issued and available 10 days prior to the examination. It will be available in the official website of the bank. Candidates are required to download the admit card and get a printed copy of the same.
