IBPS has released the official notification for the recruitment of IBPS PO 2019. A total of 4336 candidates have to be recruited for this post.  Institute of banking personnel institution conducts examination to recruit various candidates for the post of a probationary officer to be posted in public sector banks across India. A number of candidates participate in this recruitment process.

IBPS PO Prelims 2019 exam is scheduled to be held on 12th, 13th, 19th & 20th October 2019 and IBPS PO Main Examination will held on 30th November 2019. According to the official notification, IBPS PO Preliminary Exam is scheduled to be held on 12th, 13th, and 19th of October 2019. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IBPS PO 2019

The educational qualifications, age limit, and nationality of the candidates are considered in the eligibility criteria of IBPS PO Recruitment 2019 . Educational Qualification: (AS ON 28.08.2019)

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

Age Limit (As on 01.08.2019)

Minimum: 20 years  Maximum: 30 years

i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1988 and not later than 01.08.1998 (both dates inclusive)

EXAM PATTERN FOR IBPS PO 2019

IBPS selection process for the Probationary officers exam 2019 consists of 3 stages, which are:

1.Phase – I – Prelims Exam

2.Phase – II – Mains Exam

3. Phase – III – Interview

Phase I – Prelims Exam

Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 Sections as follows:

*Note:Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

Phase II – Mains Exam

Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive test by typing on the computer. Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after completion of the Objective Test.

The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with two questions for 25 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).

*Note:Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination)

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. if no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

Phase III–Interview (100 marks)

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Main examination for CWE PO/MT-VII will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of CWE (Main exam) and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination of CWE PO/MT-VII and Interview.

PROVISIONAL ALLOTMENT

On completion of the interview process, depending on the vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2018- 19 based on the business needs of the Participating Organisations and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organisations, based on merit-cum-preference keeping in view the spirit of Govt.

How to apply for IBPS PO 2019

  • Candidates are first required to go to the IBPS’s website and click on the Home Page to open the link “CRP PO/MT” and then click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-PROBATIONARY OFFICERS/ MANAGEMENT TRAINEES (CRP-PO/MT-VIII)” to open the On-Line Application Form.
  • Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile no.which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will help him/her in getting call letter/advices etc. by email/SMS.
  • Submit the Application Form.
  • The payment can be made by using debit card/credit card/Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates.
  • On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form with fee details will be generated; which may be printed for record.
  • Take out the Print Out of the Application Form for future reference.

Admit Card for For IBPS PO 2019

IBPS PO preliminary examination is scheduled to be held tentatively in the month of October 2019. According to the notification examination call letter can be downloaded tentatively from October , 2019. The IBPS PO mains exam will be tentatively held on 18th November 2019.

The Centre, venue address, date and time for both Preliminary and Main examinations and interview shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter. An eligible candidate should download his/her call letter from the authorised IBPS website www.ibps.in by entering his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. No hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier.

How to Download Admit Card

  • Go to http://www.ibps.in/ and click on careers section.
  • Select download IBPS PO call letter for preliminary examination
  • Then enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth/Password
  • Finally click on the submit button, your IBPS PO admit card 2019 will generated and take a print.
  • The IBPS PO admit card is issued and available 10 days prior to the examination. It will be available in the official website of the bank. Candidates are required to download the admit card and get a printed copy of the same.

IBPS PO PREVIOUS YEAR CUT OFF

This exam will be conducted in the month of October 2018. IBPS officially releases separate sectional and overall Cut off marks for each phase of Probationary Officer selection process. Candidates need to score marks equal to or greater than those cut off marks in each phase to get selected for the subsequent stages of the IBPSPO recruitment process. IBPS releases Cut off marks along with the IBPS PO Result  of each stage of PO selection process viz, prelims, Mains, Interview.
