LIC AAO notification 2019 out! Life Insurance Corporation has released the LIC AAO 2019 notification for a total of 590 vacancies for Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) in its department. As per notification, LIC AAO Prelims exam will be conducted on 4th & 5th May 2019 while Mains is scheduled for 28th June 2019. This year LIC has introduced some major changes in the exam pattern for the post of AAO.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR LIC AAO 2019
Overall, there are 2 criteria on which your eligibility will be judged for LIC AAO recruitment. These 2 criteria are your education qualifications and age. These are the conditions based on age and education that you need to satisfy to be eligible for LIC AAO recruitment.
Educational Qualification: (AS ON 01.03.2019)
Candidate should have a Bachelor/Masters Degree from a recognized Indian University/ Institution.
Age Limit (As on 01.03.2019)
The candidate’s age should not be below 21 and not more than 30 years as on 01. 04. 2019 which means he/she must not be born before 01.04.1997 and not after 02.04.1988 . Check out the age relaxation for various categories in the table below.

LIC AAO 2019 Exam Pattern:
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the on-line Examination followed by a personal interview of short listed candidates and subsequent Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination.
On-line examination will be of objective type, multiple choices of 120 minutes (2 hrs) duration comprising of the following:

Penalty for Wrong Answers
There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (1/4) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question. The marks obtained by the candidate in each Section and in the aggregate shall be arrived at after deduction of the marks for wrong answers.
Candidate MUST pass in each Section separately and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to qualify for the interview.
The minimum marks to be obtained in each Section and in the aggregate shall be decided by LIC. English Language test is of qualifying nature and the marks in English Language will not be counted for ranking.
I. Commensurate to the number of vacancies, LIC reserves the right to fix the minimum eligibility standards in order to restrict the candidates to be called for interview and also fix the minimum qualifying marks to qualify in the interview. Candidates who do not obtain the minimum qualifying marks as decided at a later stage shall be excluded from further selection process The decision of LIC in this regard shall be final and binding on the candidates and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
II. The number of candidates to be called for interview will be about three times the number of vacancies to be filled in subject to availability of successful candidates in the online examination and will be purely as per their ranking in their respective category. Candidates will have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the interview as will be decided by LIC .
Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination:
Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo a Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination and if found medically fit, will be offered appointment.
How to apply for LIC AAO 2019
- Candidates satisfying the conditions of eligibility as on 01.12.2015 are required to go to the LIC’s website www.licindia.in and click on the ‘Careers’ to open the link “ Recruitment of Assistant Administrative Officer 2016”
- Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile no.which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will help him/her in getting call letter/advices etc. by email/SMS.
- Submit the Application Form.
- The payment can be made by using debit card/credit card/Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates.
- On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form with fee details will be generated; which may be printed for record.
- Take out the Print Out of the Application Form for future reference.

Admit Card for For LIC AAO 2019
The Admit Cards for LIC AAO Exams are released just a couple of weeks before the LIC AAO Exam. You can find your LIC AAO Admit Card on the official website as soon as LIC releases them.
How to Download Admit Card
- Go to www.licindia.in and click on careers section.
- LIC AAO 2019 call letter for preliminary examination
- Then enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth/Password
- Finally click on the submit button, your LIC AAO 2019 will generated and take a print.
- The LIC AAO 2019 admit card will be issued and available in next Notification. It will be available in the official website. Candidates are required to download the admit card and get a printed copy of the same.
