Symbiosis International University (SIU) is a private coeducational, multi-institutional university located in Pune, Maharashtra. The University offers academic programs in seven faculties at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The university has 31 Institutes / Departments spread across 5 campuses located at Pune, Nashik, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Noida. Symbiosis School of Culinary Arts (SSCA) is a constituent of Symbiosis International University. SSCA offers a three- year, full-time B.Sc. program in Culinary Arts. B.Sc.(Culinary Arts) degree program prepares students for a wide range of career options such as Chefs, Chef Managers, food critics, food photographers, entrepreneurs, concept developers for health foods and culinary advisors. Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is the common written test for the admission processes for undergraduate studies in the institutes of Symbiosis International University. Each Symbiosis institute has its independent selection process. Students are short listed for personal interview (PI) and written aptitude test (WAT) on the basis of their performance in SET.

SET (General) 2020 Eligibility:
Students who wish to pursue B. Sc. (Culinary Arts) program through the institutes of Symbiosis University should appear for SET (General). The eligibility criteria for SET 2020 are as follows:
- Candidate should have passed 10 + 2 examinations with at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category)
- Good scores/ranks in any one of the following entrance exams; Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) or National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT)-JEE.
- IB students are exempt from appearing for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) in May.
- They will however appear for a similar test on the day of their Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT) at SSCA.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
Selection to SSCA happens through 3 stages.
Stage 1:
Appearing for SET(General) is the first stage. SET is administered in paper and pencil mode. It consists of 150 multiple choice questions to be answered in 2 ½ Hrs. Marking Scheme of the test is 1 mark for every correct answer and no negative marks for incorrect answers or unattended questions.

Stage 2 & 3:
Based on the performance in SET, SSCA will short list students for the next stage i.e. Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT). Students will have to apply and pay a separate fee for the second and third stage of selection procedure at the time of registration for SET or as per the deadline mentioned in SET information bulletin.
